My Interview with Day 26

So, me and Day 26 got into a twitter beef right. So that's why it's kind of awkward in the beginning. It ended up working out OK. I can't lie, it was weird initially

This "Super Hero" is killing me HAHAHAHAHA

They got Super Heroes out here man

Man Buys Unitard, Declares Himself a Superhero

This is either really, really noble -- or really, really stupid. Or both.

Some gangly dude in a spandex outfit who calls himself the "Shadow Hare" is roaming the streets of Cincinnati -- dedicated to ridding the city of evil-doers. Seriously.

Here's the catch -- he's 21-years-old, he's built like a math tutor, and he has no known super powers.

But Shadow Hare -- who refuses to reveal his true identity -- still bravely/stupidly patrols the streets, carrying legal items like handcuffs, tasers and pepper spray.

The guy even busted his shoulder trying to stop a guy from beating up a woman. And he hands out food to the homeless.

But he's not alone -- Shadow claims he's part of the "Allegiance of Heroes" which includes Aclyptico in Pennsylvania, Wall Creeper in Colorado and Master Legend in Florida.

Shadow Hare recently told WLWT that he's even teamed up with Mr. Extreme in California to "track down a rapist."

Come to my Birthday weekend

OMG Today was insane. I got into it w/ Day 26

I had an interview with Day 26 today. So jokingly on my twitter I said "I got an interview with Gay 26, yall got any questions. So then, this girl I know @'s Willie what I wrote. So they came down to the studio and we got into an discussion/argument. Anyways, we deaded the situation and just did a pretty good interview. I'll post it soon. They ended up being cool dudes considering what I said about them. I forget that I'm just not a fan sometimes. The intention wasn't to hurt them personally, but I guess that's what I get. Lesson learned. Interview coming soon

My thoughts on current hip-hop

Contrary to popular belief Hip-Hop aint dead. Matter of fact I think it's on the up swing. I'm not a huge fan of what's on the radio now-a-days (irony at it's best since I'm a radio DJ). However, I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I believe there should be enough lanes on the rap highway for everyone. For example, I hate Plies, but I think he needs a lane. I'm not the biggest fan of Soulja Boy, but he too should have his own lane. The problem is when Plies, Gucci Man, Soulja Boy, and OJ da Juice Man have all the access on the hip hop roadways things can get a little diluted.

Let me make this clear too, by no means am I a hip-hop purist. If you thought I was the back packer type think again. I look at music as a source of entertainment and not as a religious experience like a lot of people do. If people cook coke on a rap, and it comes with a cleaver bar, cook that shit up!!!! I just like good music. I like TI, along with Asher Roth. I bump Rick Ross, and Kidz In The Hall.

There s nothing wrong with just liking music at face value. I think sometimes we fall into these mold of, "I can't listen to that". Why? Cause it's not real? Who gives a fuck!!!

I'm getting off track here a little. The reason why I say I think Hip-Hop is in a resurgence is I can see the lanes opening up. People like Kid Cudi, and Drake are going main stream. Now, this is always interesting when your favorite "underground MC" get's adopted by the masses, but that's an argument for another day. The point I'm trying to make that the lane that was reduced down to one for these artist is opening up. The spirit of Del La Sol is relevant, and popular in today upcoming rap. Everyone doesn't have to be Young Jeezy. It's a beautiful day. The mold has been broken. I don't know if it was Kanye or what, but there is light.

I'm not saying that all rap now is whack. Or the South killed Hip-Hop. What I'm trying to convey is we as consumers need more options. In my iPod Wale, can coexist with Lil Jon. So as a new dawn approaches I think it's beautiful that the internet has allowed the listeners of this music the choice and I think in turn these labels, radio, TV, and print are seeing the old mold is broken and something fresher is coming soon.

Miss California Speaks her mind

Perez Hilton has been dumping on her every since she said she doesn't believe in gay marriage. I applaud her for not being every other cookie cutter pageant queen and standing up for her beliefs however unpopular they might be.

Joe Budden and his girl are hilarious

I love the 50 spoof. Fam, the Snuggie!!!! This is some funny shit. However, is it me or does his girl have a receding hairline?

The Dream is stealing my woman

A few months ago it was rumored that Christina Milian would be jumping the Myspace Records ship to sign with her man The Dream’s label Radiokilla Records. But word has it she won’t have to jump ship. It’s now pretty much official that she will be doing a joint venture with both record labels. Jimmy Iovine over at Interscope (which is the home for Radio Killa Records) loved some new music of Chris’ that was played for him by Dream. And she’s now about to sign a deal to release an album with them in late summer/early fall. I know she’s glad all this parading around with The Dream paid off. Her master plan is in motion…

There's a new Freddy Krueger

They are doing a reboot on the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.A new twist on the storied film franchise means a new actor to play the legendary Freddy Krueger.

Jackie Earle Haley, who recently played Rorschach in Watchmen, will now be wearing the razor glove and trademark red and green jacket.

The film's direct, Samuel Bayer, says of Haley, "Looking at his performance in Watchmen, here's a guy playing a character under a mask yet you feel tremendous empathy for him. And in Nightmare he is going to be under prosthetic make-up. You have to feel something for the character. The greatest villains are multi-dimensional and I think he will bring that to the character."

So, does Bayer think Hayley risks being typecast because of the role?

Bayer says, "It's what you bring to the material. He's a well-rounded actor who will not be stereotyped by this. If anything, he'll be celebrated for it."

Filming is set to begin on May 5th in Chicago.
